Week 05, 2022

Week five of Cultivate Delight, where we are actively planning our spiritual endeavors this coming week with the goal of a consistent time spent engaging our hearts with Christ in his word, in prayer, in reflection, and in music. Below are some starting points for reflection, and I hope you find them helpful. The goal is to not just rush through these and then get on with your day. Take your time and reflect throughout the week on these items. This week we are once again focusing on our Creator God. May we take time this week to reflect on the beauty of his creation!

Question 5: What else did God create?

God created all things by his powerful Word, and all his creation was very good; everything flourished under his loving rule.

Genesis 1:31
And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good…

Prayer

Almighty Creator. You are Lord of heaven and earth. All of creation is yours. The whole of the universe is but a grain of sand in the palm of your hand. Time and space exist by your will. There is not one misplaced molecule or atom in the whole of creation. All answer to you. When Jesus speaks to the storm, “Peace, be still.” The wind and the waves obey his voice. All of the earth yearns for the return of the King. There will be glory and praise to our great King and Creator on that day. That day when He will usher in a new heaven and a new earth. A day when all things will be put right. So Father, we look forward to that day. That holy day when you will come for your Bride. When you will gather your children from the four winds and bring us to heaven to be in your presence forevermore. 10,000 upon 10,000 years is not enough time to praise your name. Lord, hear our prayer of praise even now. May the aroma of our praise be pleasing to you. May your name be lifted high and magnified through our lives. May all who interact and engage with us see Jesus. May they see the One who is their Creator… their Savior. May the name of Jesus be exalted in every tongue, tribe, and nation around this world. Come quickly Lord Jesus.

Worship

All Of Creation – MercyMe

All of Creation

Separated
Until the veil was torn
The moment that hope was born

And guilt was pardoned once and for all
Captivated
But no longer bound by chains

Left at an empty grave
The sinner and the sacred resolved
And all of creation sing with me now
Lift up your voice and lay your burden down

And all of creation sing with me now

Fill up the heavens let his glory resound

Time has faded
And we see him face to face
Every doubt erased
Forever we will worship the king

And all of creation sing with me now

Lift up your voice and lay your burden down
And all of creation sing with me now

Fill up the heavens let his glory resound
Ohh ah ohhh
Ohh ah ohhh
Ohh ah ohhh

The reason we breathe
(Ohh ah ohhh)
Is to sing of his glory
And for all he has done praise the father praise the son and the spirit in one
And all of creation sing with me now
Lift up your voice and lay your burden down
And all of creation sing with me now
Fill up the heavens let his glory resound
And all of creation sing with me now
Lift up your voice and lay your burden down
And all of creation sing with me now
Fill up the heavens let his glory resound
And every knee will bow
(Ohh ah ohhh)
And every tongue praise the father praise the son and the spirit in one
