Week three of Cultivate Delight, where we are actively planning our spiritual endeavors this coming week with the goal of a consistent time spent engaging our hearts with Christ in his word, in prayer, in reflection, and in music. Below are some starting points for reflection, and I hope you find them helpful. The goal is to not just rush through these and then get on with your day. Take your time and reflect throughout the week on these items. This week we are focusing on the Trinity and unity of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. May we take time this week to reflect on his personhood and give glory to Him alone!

Question 3: How many persons are there in God?
There are three persons in the one true and living God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are the same in substance, equal in power and glory.
2 Corinthians 13:14
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Prayer
Holy and eternal God.
You are the perfect and loving Father. With a steadfast love you continue to lead and guide me along your path of obedience. You are the prodigal Father who catches up the hem of your robe to run and meet me on the way. To embrace me and welcome me into your presence. In your presence is the fullness of peace and comfort and security.
You are the true Son of God. The begotten of the Father. You clothed yourself in humanity and humbled yourself. You humbled yourself even to the point of death. Death on a cross. You took my sin and nailed it to that cruel tree. And in return you gave me your righteousness. Your perfect holy righteousness before the Father. You are my Savior and Redeemer.
You are the ever-present Spirit of the living God. The Holy Spirit that has come to reside in my heart. The guarantee of my salvation and acceptance before God. The One that intercedes and pleads for me. The One that dwells within me. Abides with me. Feasts with me.
You are my holy triune God.
Worship
Remember
This is the body that was torn for us
This is the blood that was spilt
Points to the pain you endured for us
Points to the shame, the blame, the guilt
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, come
Move our hearts to remember
This is the Lamb who was slain for us
So we the church may enter in
So bitter sweet when we think of You
The One who bore our curse, our sin
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, come
Move our hearts to remember, to remember
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, come
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, come
Move our hearts to remember
